Pflegejob Schweiz is a free job board for healthcare work anywhere in Switzerland. Nurses with an HF or FH diploma, FaGe, SRK nursing assistants, MPA, dental assistants and Spitex staff all search the same board, and every posting on it belongs to the health sector.
Care is work done in shifts and in percentages, so the board is built around both. A posting shows its Pensum, the employer and, in most cases, the shifts involved, whether that is a ward in a cantonal hospital, night duty in a care home, a psychiatric day clinic or a Spitex team covering a handful of villages.
How it works
- 1Search by keyword such as Pflege, Spitex, MPA or FaGe, then narrow by canton, workload percentage, employment type or the size of the employer.
- 2A posting shows the ward or service, the employer, the Pensum, the shifts and the salary when one is named. Applications go to the hospital, home or practice itself, never through us.
- 3Filling a post? Describe it, confirm the link that arrives by email, and the posting goes live after a short automatic check. Posting costs nothing and needs no account.
Why it’s free
Care homes, small Spitex organisations and single-doctor practices hire all year and rarely have a recruiting budget, so a posting fee would keep exactly them off the board. Nurses and FaGe should not pay to see openings either, which is why both sides stay free.
Common questions
- Which professions are covered?
- Every job in the health sector: nursing at HF and FH level, FaGe, AGS, SRK nursing assistants, MPA, dental assistants, therapy and Spitex roles, in hospitals, psychiatry, rehab, care homes and practices.
- Can I see part-time posts only?
- Yes. The workload filter narrows the list by percentage, so a 60 percent post or a 40 percent night post shows up without scrolling past full-time roles.
- Are the shifts shown?
- Where the employer names them, they are in the posting: early, late, night, weekend or on-call duty. The board does not fill in what a posting leaves out.
- I trained abroad. Can I apply?
- Many employers ask for a recognised diploma. For nursing and most other non-university health professions, the Swiss Red Cross (SRK) recognises foreign qualifications, and each posting says what it requires.
- Are there posts in Romandie and Ticino too?
- Yes. Those postings keep their original language, and a translation into German, English, French or Italian appears once it is ready. The interface follows the language you choose.
- How does an employer remove a filled post?
- Through the private link emailed when the posting goes live, with no account. It withdraws the posting but cannot change its text, so a correction means posting again.
