At the Berner Spitalzentrum für Altersmedizin Siloah (BESAS), elderly people receive comprehensive care – both inpatient and outpatient. With its acute medical and rehabilitative offerings, BESAS is one of the leading geriatric medicine institutions in Switzerland and places great importance on education and further training, integrated care, and modern treatment methods. The geriatric emergency practice in Gümligen is the first point of contact for general practitioners as well as for patients with acute complaints. The own residential doctor's practice ensures the residential medical care of residents in nursing homes in the greater Bern area. ### Your area of responsibility

• You undertake the care, support, treatment, and rehabilitation of geriatric patients
• You participate in the interdisciplinary treatment team, consisting of doctors, nursing, therapists, and social counseling
• You work in all 3 shifts (predominantly in day and late shifts)
• You work in all 3 geriatric departments

Your profile

• You have a completed degree as Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/ FH
• You have experience in acute care
• You bring interest and joy in nursing and in dealing with geriatric patients
• You are an open, structured, and communicative personality
• You have team spirit and you enjoy working interdisciplinary

The Siloah-Verbund as an employer
