Research Associate Digital Expertise in Healthcare

Bern, Schweiz (und Homeoffice) | 80-100% | This is your contribution * Assume technical leadership in the conception and implementation of prioritized use cases and specialized services for the establishment of the Swiss health data space in close cooperation with the DigiSanté team and industry stakeholders * Identify corresponding technical problems in the healthcare sector with a focus on service providers, the insurance industry, national and cantonal authorities, as well as research, and develop solutions based on them that enable seamless and media-break-free end-to-end data flows * Develop binding specifications (guidelines and requirements) for interoperable and automated data exchange as well as for the fundamental interface design * Represent the topics in internal and external specialist committees, prepare and moderate workshops, ensure knowledge transfer, and exercise lateral leadership in interdisciplinary project and stakeholder constellations * Collaborate on the drafting of Federal Council motions and provide information notes and internal syntheses for the DigiSanté committees, GS EDI, the Federal Council, and Parliament What makes you unique * Deep understanding of the processes and data flows in the Swiss healthcare system and experience in working with the relevant actors, particularly in the areas of service delivery and billing * Possess proven, ideally at least seven years of experience in the conception and implementation of interoperable health data solutions, as well as knowledge of relevant data, architecture, and governance issues and the ability to translate technical requirements into viable specifications, use cases, and implementable specialized services * Familiarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks in the Swiss healthcare system, particularly in the area of data protection and secondary use of data * Ability to think analytically, structurally, and in networks, to transfer complex technical and technical issues into implementable concepts and to develop results ready for decision-making * Hold a university degree, preferably in health sciences, computer science, business informatics, public management, political or social sciences, or a comparable field * Possess strong written and oral communication skills, appear confidently in specialist committees, and move sovereignly in demanding stakeholder and political contexts * Bring good active knowledge of a second official language as well as good written and oral English skills In a nutshell As a digitalization expert in healthcare in the DigiSanté program, you will take technical leadership for the conception, establishment, and operation of a health data space for Switzerland, which includes data from the areas of treatment, billing, and authority services, and enables their responsible secondary use.
