Short description
To build up an outpatient orthopaedic offering in our clinic in Kreuzlingen, we are looking for an experienced female or male specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System with their own OKP authorization and an existing patient and referrer network in Eastern Switzerland. This is an outpatient, planned elective procedure activity in a modern surgical environment — at your request, independently (attending physician model using our infrastructure) or as an employee.

Mandatory requirements
Specialist title FMH Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System (or MEBEKO-recognized, equivalent foreign title)

Own OKP authorization at the expense of basic insurance — in particular, three years of activity at a recognized Swiss training facility in the specialty according to Art. 37 KVG

Proven independent surgical experience in the following outpatient focus areas (surgical catalog desired)

Existing patient base and referrer network in the region or the demonstrated readiness to actively build such one (collaboration with general practitioners in the region)

Business-fluent German skills; language examination taken in Switzerland, if required according to KVG

We are looking for a profile with a focus on well-planned, outpatiently performable elective procedures. Ideally, you cover one or more of the following areas:

Hand surgery — carpal tunnel and pulley release, Dupuytren's contracture, ganglion and tumor excision, nerve decompression, tendon and ligament procedures core area, without additional equipment

Foot and forefoot surgery — Hallux valgus, hammer toes, soft tissue and deformity corrections

Soft tissue and minor surgery of the musculoskeletal system

Metal removal (OSME) after completed fracture healing

Arthroscopic procedures on knee, shoulder, or ankle optional; equipment will be procured if required

Explicitly not the subject of this position are inpatient procedures, in particular endoprosthetics of large joints (knee, hip, shoulder) as well as spine and acute trauma care — these cannot be mapped outpaitently. Candidates with such a focus are welcome, provided they continue their inpatient activity elsewhere and wish to perform their outpatient elective procedures with us.
