The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrischen Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the expanded basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the Canton and beyond.

In the acute care nursing department under the nursing management of Frau Dragica Novakovic, we are looking for a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau, a Dipl. Pflegefachmann for our modern ward at a workload of 40-100%.
We focus on the specialist areas of surgery and internal medicine.

Your tasks

• Nursing and caring for interdisciplinary patients with a focus on internal medicine
• Participation in medical rounds
• Electronic nursing documentation
• Contribution to appreciative, respectful, interdisciplinary, and interprofessional cooperation
• Active participation in projects, working groups, and change processes
• You participate in the practical supervision of trainees in the various stages of training

Your profile

• You have a successful degree as a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau, as a Dipl. Pflegefachmann at HF or FH level, or you are a Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegerin, Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger ideally with Swiss recognition
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing is mandatory for this position
• Experience in the acute care area is desirable but not a prerequisite

• A high degree of specialist, social, self, and methodological competence characterizes you
