Background:

Roche Diagnostics Sensor & Cartridge (S&C) Operations Rotkreuz consists of the experts for the manufacture and testing of electrochemical electrodes, thick-film sensor cartridges and calibration and cleaning fluids for blood gas analysis devices and support point-of-care customers in the monitoring and treatment of patients in intensive care.

As a Quality Control (QC) Specialist, one supports the testing and release process of reagents and is involved in the improvement of the associated process specifications and work instructions.

The perfect candidate:

The perfect candidate has completed vocational training in a chemical laboratory as well as further professional experience with chemical/pharmaceutical products and GMP knowledge. In addition, we are looking for a communicative and team-oriented personality who are looking for a company in which one has the opportunity to pursue interests cross-functionally.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Incoming, in-process, final and stability control of S&C reagents as well as
• Raw materials, intermediate products and end products
• Evaluation of test results and documentation of analysis results
• Ensuring and documentation according to GxP guidelines
• Creating reports and general documents
• Communication, interaction and cooperation with internal interfaces (
• Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Facility Management)
• Review of analysis results and test documentations
• Execution of SAP transactions
• Cooperation in laboratory organization and planning as well as maintaining laboratory routine
• (Ordering, cleaning, maintenance)
• Participation in projects
• Onboarding of team members, participation in the training of QC team members or
• other employees in SOPs and test methods for which the employee is qualified
• Willingness to assist/rotate in other departments with a similar skillset

Must Haves:

• Education/ Studies: completed vocational training as a Chemielaborant EFZ or Bachelor's degree in chemistry
• Professional experience: experience in a laboratory environment (min 1 year) required; experience in quality control, physical-
• chemical testing or medical laboratory diagnostics is an advantage
• GMP experience required? Experience with GMP (especially good documentation practice)
• Strong affinity for careful and exact working, high quality awareness
• Flexible and communicative team player

Nice to haves:

• Experience in quality control with Medical Diagnostics
• SAP knowledge
