Veterinary Practice Assistant TPA Laboratory 80 - 100% Aarau

In the veterinary laboratory, hematology, clinical chemistry, and microscopy provide the basis for every diagnosis. In Aarau, Canton Aargau, we are looking for a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ or a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ with a focus on laboratory work at a workload of 80 - 100%, starting immediately or by arrangement. In a center for small animal medicine with over 160 employees, you will combine work as a TPA with regular assignments in the in-house laboratory.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You will work as a TPA with regular assignments in the laboratory
• You will perform analyses in hematology, clinical chemistry, as well as urine and stool samples
• You will microscopically assess blood films, cerebrospinal fluid, aspirates, urine, and skin samples
• You will organize the shipment of samples to external partner laboratories

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ or Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ, with laboratory knowledge or the desire to acquire it
• Great interest in hematology, clinical chemistry, stool and urine analysis, as well as openness to new procedures and techniques
