Le Pôle santé Vallée de Joux is an innovative institution that employs 220 employees in Le Sentier. According to an integrated care model, its missions are hospital, medico-social, and community services. It works closely with local and cantonal health and community network partners. It provides coordinated care and health services to the population.

We are looking for our socio-cultural animation department at the EMS Alp’Age
Socio-educational Assistant (ASE) at 70%

Main activities

Strengthen the physical, psychological, and social well-being of elderly people. Promote the maintenance of skills, autonomy, and the pleasure of living by accompanying them in group and individual activities. You create new activities and take advantage of the news and resources of the Vallée de Joux. You participate in administrative tasks and housekeeping. You work in close collaboration with different care partners and cooperate with other services of the Pôle Santé.

Skills – required requirements

•Possess a CFC in ASE or an equivalent training recognized in Switzerland
•Have experience with elderly people, an interest in this population and its particularities
•Experience in elderly psychiatric settings – an asset
•Be autonomous and active in collaboration within a small team
•Have a sense of responsibility
•Possess qualities of analysis and adaptation
•Have a creative spirit
•Ease in relationships and communication
•Hold a driver's license
