The Medizinische Klinik cares for around 5'000 inpatient patients every year. Our oncology ward with 12 beds is an important part of the Medizinische Klinik and the Tumorzentrum Thurgau, certified by the Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft (DKG).

You will take on ##

• Responsibility for the professional, holistic nursing and care of our oncology patients and their relatives
• Implementation of the nursing process from admission to discharge in the sense of primary nursing
• Accompanying and supporting patients and relatives in coping with the diverse symptoms and effects of their illness
• Administration of anti-tumoral as well as supportive therapies according to applicable quality standards
• Carrying out nursing assessments for symptom control
• Patient education and counseling regarding therapy and side effect management
• Promotion and support of students and trainees
• Goal- and solution-oriented cooperation in the interprofessional treatment team

You bring with you ##

• Basic training as a diplomierte Pflegefachperson HF/FH and professional experience in an acute care hospital
• Ideally experience in the nursing and care of oncology patients
• High professional and social competence in dealing with oncology patients and their relatives
• Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, flexibility, and independence to engage with rapidly changing situations
• Process- and solution-oriented thinking and reflective, reliable action for a committed, well-coordinated treatment team
