Senior Physician Acute Psychiatry 50 - 100% St. Gallen

Acute and emergency psychiatry with real creative freedom, in a clinic that does not just describe recovery, but lives it. In the St. Gallen area, we are looking for a Senior Physician with a special function or a Senior Physician with a special function for the psychiatric acute and emergency station with a workload of 50 – 100%, effective immediately or by arrangement. In a recovery-oriented clinic with around 1'400 employees and university affiliation, an interdisciplinary team and a demanding acute setting await you.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You assume senior medical responsibility on the psychiatric acute and emergency station
• You ensure the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of patients with a wide spectrum of mental illnesses in the inpatient acute setting
• You lead and accompany assistant physicians through supervision and structured further training
• You work closely and interdisciplinarily with nursing, psychology, and other specialists
• You participate in the senior medical on-call service and help develop the station conceptually

What you bring with you

• Specialist title for psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Experience in acute and emergency psychiatry is an advantage
• Joy in leadership and further training responsibility
• Very good German skills in spoken and written, at least level C1
