Your tasks

• Support for nursing specialists in the care and treatment of patients in the urology department
• Assistance with basic care, personal hygiene, and mobilization
• Care of patients before and after urological procedures
• Support in the care of patients with bladder catheters and urine drainage systems within your own competencies
• Observation of the general condition and forwarding of changes to the nursing specialists
• Support with food intake and daily activities
• Accompanying and caring for patients during their hospital stay
• Assistance in the preparation of examinations and treatments
• Compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety guidelines
• Support with administrative and organizational tasks in the department
• Ensuring a clean and pleasant patient environment

Your profile

• Completed training as a nursing assistant, nursing assistant SRK, or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in nursing, ideally in an acute care hospital or in the field of urology
• Interest in the care of patients with urological diseases
• Empathy and enjoyment of interacting with people
• Responsible, reliable, and careful way of working
• Good German language skills, written and spoken
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and resilience
• Readiness for irregular working hours and weekend shifts
