This versatile task combines demanding clinical work in the Stroke Center and on the inpatient wards with the professional, conceptual development of the occupational therapy department in neurology. Your main tasks

Activity as an occupational therapist

• Treatment of inpatient patients with neurological disorders and neuropsychological impairments in the acute phase as well as early rehabilitation in the Stroke Center
• Collaboration in a team with 11 physiotherapists and 6 occupational therapists

Activity as a specialist

• Organization and management of the neurology occupational therapy department, including tutoring the specialists
• Continuous subject-specific knowledge generation and securing as well as further development of the department
• Representation of occupational therapy interests at the USZ as well as public relations
• Promotion of interprofessional collaboration
• Contribution of innovative, evidence-based care concepts

Your profile

• Occupational therapist M.Sc. with several years of professional experience in an acute institution as well as advanced and further training in the field of neurology
• Confident handling of scientific literature, experience in the application of EBP/EBM
• Joy in innovation and courage to question existing structures and test new things
• High commitment to teamwork and interprofessional collaboration
• Interest in lateral leadership and networking in the professional environment
