Clinical data manager at 80%

Key information about the position:

Reference: CLS/RH/ / Contract type: Permanent Contract at 80% / Hours: during the week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexible hours) / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

Following the departure of the current holder toward new projects, we are today looking for our future Clinical data manager for our Medical Centers. You will notably be responsible for the quality, reliability and monitoring of pre-operative, operative, hospital and post-operative data across different specialties.

What will you be expected to do?

• Collect and enter pre-, per- and post-operative data into dedicated software and registries
• Control the completeness, consistency and quality of the data and identify missing information
• Ensure the retrieval of missing data from doctors, practices, internal units and external providers
• Coordinate data collection with different interlocutors and facilitate their transmission within the required deadlines
• Ensure compliance with requirements related to data closure and contribute to the maintenance of certifications
• Keep tracking tables up to date and ensure data reporting on Excel
• Collaborate with the relevant teams and partners to guarantee the reliability and traceability of the data

• Within the Medical Competence Centers, you will join a multidisciplinary team engaged in coordinated pathways, from diagnosis to treatment. Secretary, reference nurses, clinical research coordinator and administrative assistant collaborate to offer personalized support. You will evolve in a dynamic environment, serving different medical specialties.

What do we expect from you?

Indispensables:

• Training in the field of health, data, administration or training deemed equivalent
• Experience in data management, entry or monitoring, ideally in a medical or hospital environment
• Very good mastery of Excel and ease with IT tools
• Excellent rigor and sense of detail to guarantee the quality and reliability of data
• Organization and autonomy in managing several registries and deadlines
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact with varied interlocutors, notably doctors, healthcare teams and external partners
• Proactive spirit and perseverance, notably to identify and retrieve missing data
• Very good mastery of French, both oral and written

Your assets:

• Knowledge of hospital functioning and medical terminology
• Experience in clinical data management, medical registries or clinical research
• Knowledge of SIRIS and ADJUMED
• Knowledge of statistics or data analysis
