La Fondation Centre pour personnes âgées Gontenbad is an institution in the field of long-term care and offers a home to more than 60

people. The foundation is divided into three establishments: the retirement and care home with 53 rooms, the residential group with 9 rooms for people with dementia, as well as a residence for elderly people with 12 apartments for the elderly.

We are looking for someone starting now or by agreement for the care and support team:

Your main tasks

• Daily responsibility in the Edelweiss dementia house
• Collaboration with the team leaders in the main house and the care & support management
• Collaboration with family doctors, external partners, and specialized committees
• Active participation in the care team
• Assessment of residents according to BESA
• Support of FaGe / FaBe apprentices

Your profile

• You possess high social competence and approach people with dementia as well as their relatives with empathy, respect, and in a manner adapted to the situation
• You hold a federal certificate of capacity as a healthcare professional (FaGe) or support professional (FaBe)
• You have several years of professional experience in care, ideally in the field of dementia.
• You like to contribute actively to the daily life and development of our dementia house, acting in an autonomous, responsible, and economical manner
• You have good knowledge of BESA and are comfortable with digital work tools
