Medical Assistant for our Pre-anesthetic Consultation at 90%
Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/2026.772 / Contract type: CDI at 90% (1 variable day off every 2 weeks) / Hours: Monday to Friday according to 2 schedules: 7:45-16:45 / 8:00-17:00 / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
In order to support the activity of our Pre-anesthetic Consultation, we are looking for a Medical Assistant who will contribute to providing each patient with serene, personalized, and high-quality care. As a true interface between patient·s, anesthesiologist doctors, and external partners, you will evolve within a committed team where your technical expertise, sense of organization, and interpersonal skills will make a difference.
What will you be required to do?
Ensure the physical and telephone reception of patient·s, their relatives, and various interlocutors, while guaranteeing professional and benevolent care.
Organize and coordinate pre-anesthetic consultation appointments.
Compile, check, and prepare patient medical files.
Assist anesthesiologist doctors during consultations and contribute to the smooth running of care.
Perform medico-technical acts falling within the competencies of the medical assistant, notably blood sampling, electrocardiograms (ECG), Uricult, urine sticks, and nasopharyngeal swabs, upon prescription or medical request (approximately 10% of the activity).
Ensure the entry of services for billing purposes.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail as well as the dispatch of files to prescribing practices.
Ensure the management of stocks of medical equipment and consumables, ensure their replenishment, and carry out necessary orders.

The team includes two dynamic and complementary medical assistants, who collaborate closely with the anesthesiologist doctors. Always smiling and in good spirits, they tackle daily challenges together.

What do we expect from you?
The essentials:
CFC in Medical Assisting or training deemed equivalent and recognized in Switzerland.
Experience in an activity combining reception, administrative management, and medico-technical acts.
Mastery of blood sampling, electrocardiograms (ECG), and other technical acts falling within the competencies of the medical assistant.
Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills.
Sense of service, interpersonal ease, and ability to establish a climate of trust with patient·s.
Rigor, autonomy, and discretion in the management of medical information.
Ease with IT tools and patient file management software.
Excellent command of French, both oral and written.
Your assets:
Experience in pre-anesthetic consultation, anesthesia, or in a hospital or clinic environment.
Knowledge of the patient pathway in ambulatory surgery or in an operating environment.
Mastery of DPI, computerized patient file (Clevehr) and/or medical billing software (Opale).
Knowledge of one or more foreign languages, notably English.
Team spirit, flexibility, and adaptability.
