Your tasks

• In the inpatient setting, you will care for patients as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• After a thorough introduction, you will carry out psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments and treatments under senior physician supervision.
• You will participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and, upon request, assist with specific group offerings.
• You are equally responsible for individual therapy planning as you are for documentation, reporting, and the writing of medical reports and expert opinions.
• You will work closely with referring agencies, relatives, and authorities and engage in a team that upholds interdisciplinary cooperation and appreciation of employees.
• You are willing to contribute your professional expertise and actively participate in the future of Psychiatrie St. Gallen.

Your profile

• You have a completed degree in human medicine in Switzerland, the EU, or an EFTA state, whereby a degree obtained abroad already possesses MEBEKO recognition.
• You would like to start your further training to become a specialist physician or have already begun it.
• Working with mentally ill people in a multi-professional team is particularly close to your heart.
• Flexibility and resilience are among your pronounced personal strengths.
• You naturally maintain an open and communicative manner with patients and team members.
• High commitment, initiative, and very good German language skills with at least level C1 characterize you.

The contract

In the following days, we will send you the contract in duplicate by mail. With the contract, you will also receive relevant information regarding your employment.
Preboarding

Between the acceptance of the position and the first working day, you can, as a new female or male employee, already access relevant internal information. This allows you to form a nuanced picture of the company and prepare for the job.
First working day

On the first day, an onboarding awaits you in your new team and with other colleagues. You will settle into your new workplace and get an overview of your next tasks. You will also receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
