Biomedical Analyst HF/FH

The skin testing laboratory of the University Clinic for Dermatology and Venereology of the Inselspital is a Switzerland-wide reference center for skin testing and the clarification of occupational inflammatory skin diseases. To strengthen our interdisciplinary team, we are looking for a committed personality to lead and help shape the laboratory from a technical-organizational perspective.

What awaits you

• Non-medical management of the skin testing laboratory
• Planning and coordination of all testing
• Preparation of the standardized test series
• Execution of skin testing
• Processing of patient materials, especially occupational substances
• Conducting patient training as well as continuous development together with the team
• Ordering of test substances

What you bring with you

• Degree in biomedical analytics
• Strong patient orientation
• Interest and willingness to process individual components of patient samples for subsequent testing, with the aim of identifying potentially new contact allergens
• Scientific interest and willingness to participate in research projects
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Proficient German in speaking and writing; French language skills are an advantage
• Collegial, empathetic demeanor and enjoyment of working in a team of various disciplines (Biomedical Analyst, Advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) and physician)
