For an institution in the field of outpatient care in Basel, we are looking for an experienced dipl. Pflegefachperson HF with a focus on psychiatry for a temporary assignment of at least three months, effective immediately.

You will undertake a responsible activity in outpatient care and accompany people with mental illnesses in their familiar living environment. In doing so, you will benefit from a varied task with a lot of personal responsibility and the opportunity to specifically apply your psychiatric expertise.

Requirement Profile ##

• Completed training as a dipl. Pflegefachperson HF or equivalent, SRK-recognized training
• At least two years of professional experience in psychiatric nursing
• Professional experience in outpatient care / Spitex mandatory
• Sound knowledge in dealing with people with psychiatric illnesses
• Experience in the independent organization and implementation of nursing assignments
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• Strong social competence and empathetic handling of clients
• Enjoyment of outpatient care and independent work
• Willingness to carry out assignments by bicycle
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing

Tasks ##

• Independent care and support of people with psychiatric illnesses in their home environment
• Implementation and coordination of psychiatric nursing interventions
• Assessment of individual nursing situations and implementation of suitable measures
• Accompanying clients in psychologically stressful life situations
• Promotion of independence and psychological stability in everyday life
• Implementation of treatment care within your own area of competence
• Responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing process
• Careful maintenance of the electronic nursing documentation
• Cooperation with other medical and therapeutic professionals
• Independent implementation of client visits by bicycle
• Shifts in early and late shifts
• Temporary assignment with a minimum duration of three months
