Team Leader Pediatric Emergency Care

Welcome to the Emergency Center for Children and Adolescents -- we look forward to meeting you!

We are there for children and adolescents under 16 years of age and their families around the clock. Our interprofessional team treats patients from the entire medical and surgical spectrum of pediatric emergency medicine. In doing so, we are guided by three values: respect, responsibility, and excellence.

For our management team, we are looking for a team leader who embodies these values and, together with us, shapes and develops nursing care in the emergency setting.

What to expect

• Together with two other team leaders, you will take over the personnel and organizational management of the pediatric emergency center and ensure high-quality, patient-oriented care.
• You will further develop the quality of care in the shared governance team, together with the other team leaders, the nursing expert, and the vocational training managers.
• You will work closely with all professional groups involved.
• You will stay close to the action and partially work in the direct care of children and adolescents.

What you bring with you

• Nursing diploma at tertiary level (Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH, dipl. Pflegefachfrau/-mann HF, DN II, or KWS)
• Completed postgraduate studies Expert in Emergency Nursing NDS HF is an advantage
• Professional experience in pediatrics, initial leadership experience desirable
• High social competence, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of working with different professional groups
• Commitment, sense of responsibility, and decisiveness
• Strong organizational skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working
• Readiness to develop professionally and personally as a leader
