Veterinary Assistant TPA focus Laboratory 80 - 100% Aarau

In the veterinary laboratory, hematology, clinical chemistry and microscopy provide the basis for every diagnosis. In Aarau, Canton Aargau, we are looking for an immediate start or by arrangement for a Veterinary Assistant EFZ or a Veterinary Assistant EFZ with a focus on laboratory at a workload of 80 - 100 %. In a center for small animal medicine with over 160 employees, you will combine work as a TPA with regular assignments in the in-house laboratory.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You work as a TPA with regular assignments in the laboratory
• You perform analyses in hematology, clinical chemistry as well as urine and stool samples
• You assess blood smears, cerebrospinal fluid, aspirates, urine and skin samples microscopically
• You organize the shipment of samples to the external partner laboratories

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Assistant EFZ or Veterinary Assistant EFZ, with laboratory knowledge or the desire to acquire it
• Great interest in hematology, clinical chemistry, stool and urine analysis as well as openness to new procedures and techniques
