Job description

For our medical center in Locarno, we are looking for a Specialist Doctor in Gynecology and Obstetrics, with a 100% employment rate, interested in becoming part of a structured and multidisciplinary healthcare entity.

The selected person will perform specialist outpatient activities independently, handling the care of patients in the areas of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of the main gynecological pathologies.

Main activities

• Gynecological examinations and specialist check-ups
• Prevention and screening activities
• Diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of gynecological pathologies
• Counseling and accompaniment of patients through different stages of life
• Collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals present within the structure
• Autonomous management of outpatient activity, with the support of the center staff

Qualifications

• Specialist Doctor title in Gynecology and Obstetrics recognized in Switzerland or recognizable via MEBEKO
• Necessary requirements for the practice of the medical profession in Canton Ticino
• Excellent knowledge of the Italian language (knowledge of German constitutes a preferential characteristic)
• Professional autonomy and organizational skills
• Aptitude for interdisciplinary work
• Professional, empathetic approach oriented towards the quality of patient care
