Patient Admissions is a friendly, open and humorous team and is often the first point of contact for outpatient and inpatient patients. Our goal is to enable them to have a smooth hospital admission. To ensure that the stay is as pleasant as possible from the start, our specialist staff is available for advice at all times. ###

• Recording and checking of administrative patient data
• Clarification of cost coverage for hospital treatments
• Responsibility and collaboration at the cash desk for deposits and withdrawals as well as monitoring of deposit payments
• Application of social insurance principles (KVG, UVG etc.)
• Admission management for inpatient and outpatient treatments
• Admission of outpatient as well as inpatient patients at the counter
• Optimization of processes and ongoing updating of documentation
• Supervision and training of apprentices in the commercial field
• A completed commercial or medical basic education as well as several years of experience in patient administration or in the Swiss health insurance system
• Team player, resilient personality with assertiveness

The Spitäler Schaffhausen include the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrischen Dienste, the Radiologie und Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum practice. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. Furthermore, we are an important training center in the canton.
