Key information about the position:

Reference: CLS/RH/ / Contract type: Permanent Contract at 100% / Hours: in 8h30 from Monday to Friday, from 6h30 at the earliest to 18h00 at the latest / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

Following the departure of a team member, we are looking for a new person to complete our department. A versatile position, within which the reprocessing of endoscopes holds a central place.

What will you be required to do?

• Participate in the comfort, reception, installation, and safety of patients in the interventional room and the ward
• Assist the healthcare team during endoscopic procedures, in compliance with protocols and safety
• Ensure the cleaning, disinfection, and reprocessing of endoscopes and medical devices used (60% of the activity)
• Apply protective measures in all required circumstances
• Contribute to stock management: replenishment, storage, and preparation of material necessary for interventions

Who will you work with?

• In Interventional, our team consists of 5 nurses and 4 endoscopy technical assistants and ambulatory service. It is a supportive and dynamic team, experienced and always curious to develop new skills and activities. The service's mottos are "Good mood, rigor, and gentleness".

What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Hold a Red Cross Health Auxiliary (ASCR) diploma or level 1 in Sterilization
• A first professional experience in adult acute care
• A good mastery of hygiene, asepsis, and safety rules
• Demonstrate versatility, organization, and flexibility
• Be able to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent capacity for adaptation and integration
• Rigorous, dynamic, and autonomous
• Mastery of the French language

Your assets:

• Previous experience in endoscopy or in the reprocessing of medical devices
• To be comfortable with a technical environment and medical equipment
• Professional curiosity and desire to train in a specialized field
