Introduction

Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.

Your Tasks

As part of our activities within a laboratory operating 24/7, we are looking for a versatile person capable of intervening in both the technical sector and pre-analytical activities. This 80% position is intended for a person wishing to evolve in a dynamic, demanding environment strongly oriented towards the quality of services.

Your Profile

Your responsibilities

• Perform clinical chemistry, hematology, and immunology-hematology analyses according to current procedures.
• Use and monitor laboratory automated analyzers, perform maintenance, calibrations, and quality controls.
• Receive and register samples in the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Check the compliance of requests and samplings and ensure the processing of non-conformities.
• Perform centrifugation, aliquoting, and preparation of samples for analysis.
• Organize shipments to other sites or specialized laboratories.
• Guarantee the traceability of operations and compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of technical and pre-analytical processes.

Your profile

• + ES diploma in biomedical analysis technician or a title deemed equivalent,
• Solid knowledge in biomedical analyses, ideally in hematology and immuno-hematology.
• Good understanding of the requirements of the pre-analytical phase and the compliance criteria for samplings.
• Experience with laboratory automated analyzers and IT tools.
• Perfect oral and written mastery of French.
• Availability to work according to variable schedules for a 24/7 laboratory, including early morning and late evening, as well as to eventually integrate into an on-call system.
