Hirslanden Bern AG includes Klinik Beau-Site, Salem-Spital and Klinik Permanence with a total of around 350 beds. At the Salem Spital location, we offer a vacant apprenticeship position as an apprentice Medical Device Technologist EFZ with the start of training on 01. August 2027.

The Hirslanden Gruppe enables you to have a diverse and attractive training. You will work in an experienced team and complete various internships, which allow you a deepened insight into diverse areas. You will be accompanied by a vocational trainer throughout the entire learning process.

YOUR TASKS

During your training, you are co-responsible for the correct processing of various instruments and devices, which are used, among other things, during examinations and operations.

• You manage the medical products
• You organize the processing process of the medical products
• You clean and disinfect instruments
• You sterilize instruments
• You contribute to quality assurance
• You perform administrative and logistical tasks

YOUR PROFILE

• You have completed compulsory school (secondary school or good Realabschluss)
• You are interested in the healthcare system
• You work reliably and have a high sense of responsibility
• You enjoy working precisely and have manual dexterity
• You enjoy working in a team and are reliable
• You are physically resilient
• You have a good awareness of hygiene
