The social counseling center SoBZ is a regional, polyvalent counseling center under the sponsorship of a municipal association. The Mother and Father Counseling / Early Childhood Counseling forms an independent specialist department alongside professional guardianship in child and adult protection, individual, couple, family, youth and addiction counseling, economic social assistance, and school social work.

SPECIALIST EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNSELLING | 60 % ##

(MOTHER AND FATHER COUNSELLING)

In the field of Early Childhood, we accompany and advise families with children from 0 to school entry on questions regarding nutrition, upbringing, family dynamics, development, health, and bonding. Our confidential offer strengthens parents in their competencies and is oriented towards the individual needs of the family. Counseling is provided in all languages - by telephone, online, or as part of home visits.

Here you take on responsibility ###

• Independent counseling, accompaniment, and support of parents with children from birth to school entry on topics such as development, upbringing, nutrition, breastfeeding, health, and everyday life
• Conducting home visits as well as counseling in the assigned municipalities, by telephone or digitally on all questions within the framework of mother and father counseling
• Early detection of developmental disorders and abnormalities in toddlers
• Early detection of stressors and promotion of protective factors in the family system
• Mediation of information regarding support offers and development opportunities
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with specialists and agencies (midwife, pediatrician, HFD, etc.)

What you bring with you ###

• Further education with a specialist diploma as a Mother and Father Counselor (HFP/NDS) or Early Childhood Counselor (HFP) or the willingness to complete this.
• Dipl. Nurse HF KJFF with professional experience, ideally in the field of Early Childhood and/or Mother and Father Counseling.
• High social competence, friendliness, commitment, and sense of responsibility.
• Independent way of working, resilience, and ability to work in a team.
• Good administrative and digital knowledge (MVB4 program).
• Driver's license B; own car an advantage, company car available
