To complete our Medic-Help team at the KZU Richterswil center, we are looking for as soon as possible or by agreement a 100% qualified nurse (regular hours (mon-fri)).

Your responsibilities ##

• Ensure and guarantee basic medical care to the center's clients taking into account legal and other prescriptions (authorities, specialists and ORS)
• Direct and organize efficient triage according to urgency and severity, then coordinate with medical organizations (emergency, rescue services, doctors, dentists)
• Perform first medical aid in case of emergency, nursing care and measures prescribed by the doctor
• Manage the internal pharmacy under the supervision of a responsible pharmacist and the emergency kit
• Organize, advise and sometimes personally carry out regular training for non-medical staff/center management in the field of basic medical care, emergency procedures and prevention
• Identify, inform, initiate and apply measures/structures concerning communicable diseases and general hygiene
• Hold consultations at the center and/or in other accommodation units
• Maintain and manage medical records

Your profile ##

• Tertiary education: higher professional examination or equivalent (federal diploma / HES post-graduate training)
• 0 to 1 year of relevant professional experience
• Basic knowledge and user of MS Office applications
• Clean criminal record (no entry in the debt collection register and criminal record)
• German | oral: C1 | written: C1
• French | oral: B2 | written: B2
• English | oral: B2 | written: B2
