Deputy Cantonal Physician / Deputy Cantonal Physician (m/f/d)

• Support and deputy for the Cantonal Physician
• Assessment of medical and health policy issues as well as advising authorities
• Ensuring the enforcement of the Epidemics Act, assessment of medico-legal issues, and implementation of the Narcotics Act
• Processing of specialist statements on parliamentary motions
• Coordination and management of projects
• Representation of the Cantonal Medical Office in specialist committees, commissions, and working groups
• Completed studies in human medicine
• Several years of medical professional experience
• Sound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system
• Interest in Public Health as well as in health policy contexts
• Willingness for special assignments outside of office hours
• Confident and communicative appearance
• Foreign language skills (English, French) are an advantage
• Responsible activity in an exciting and political environment
• Good induction and support
• A competent and motivated team
