Head of Department Endocrinology/Diabetology (LA)

Contribution

• Professional, personnel, and organizational leadership of endocrinology/diabetology as well as ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, and economical care
• Outpatient and inpatient care of patients as well as further development of the endocrinological and diabetological service offering
• Further development of diagnostic and therapeutic processes as well as initiation and implementation of clinical projects
• Promotion, coaching, and development of employees as well as active participation in initial, advanced, and continuing education
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with Internal Medicine as well as particularly with Surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Rheumatology, and Radiology
• Expansion of cooperation with general practitioners, referring doctors, and other regional partners
• Co-shaping the strategic development of endocrinology/diabetology and the Clinic of Medicine at Spital Bülach
• Participation in the internal medicine service is desired

Requirements

• Specialist title in Endocrinology/Diabetology, ideally supplemented by the specialist title in General Internal Medicine or an equivalent recognized qualification
• Several years of clinical experience and proven expertise in the entire spectrum of endocrinology and diabetology
• Experience in a leading function as well as strong integrative leadership competencies
• Joy in promoting, developing, and empowering employees according to their individual strengths
• High social and communication competence as well as joy in interprofessional and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Entrepreneurial thinking, understanding of quality and service, as well as willingness to actively shape changes
• Identification with a value- and strength-oriented leadership culture
