At Blinden- und Behindertenzentrum Bern – das «B» –, 360 people work, about half of whom work in an adapted workplace. For over 140 years, we have been committed to blind, visually impaired, and multiply impaired persons and, in addition to the cantonal advisory center, we also offer various forms of living. Your tasks in the nursing and care team
You accompany and care for residents of the "B" and help shape their everyday life
You take over daily responsibility including documentation
You orient yourself towards the resources of the people
You commit yourself as a reference person and maintain contact with their family and environment
You participate in interdisciplinary projects at the "B"

Ideally, you bring with you
completed training as a Specialist in Care (FaBe)
possibly experience as a vocational trainer or the willingness to take this on
independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
willingness to familiarize yourself with the subject of visual impairment
enjoyment of communication with involved specialists
experience and training in life skills are an advantage
