Your tasks

• Planning, organization and implementation of individual and group activities
• Individual support and care of our guests according to their needs, interests and resources
• Promotion and maintenance of existing capacities, autonomy and social participation
• Design of varied offers, e.g. movement, memory training, creative activities, music, conversations, games, walks and daily activities
• Participation in the organization of parties, events and seasonal activities
• Establishing trusting relationships with our guests and rewarding integration of their biography and habits
• Close collaboration with care, support and other services of the house
• Contribution to the development of our activation and support offer
• Documentation of the offers realized and relevant observations

Your profile

• Completed training as a specialist in animation and activation, comparable training or several years of experience in a similar function
• Professional experience in long-term care
• Joy of working with elderly people and genuine interest in their life stories
• Empathic, respectful and resource-oriented attitude
• Creativity and pleasure in proposing and implementing your own ideas
• Autonomous, reliable and structured way of working
• Team spirit and willingness for interprofessional collaboration
• Good command of German, both spoken and written
• Flexibility and availability to intervene occasionally outside of regular hours during special occasions
