Senior Scientist, QC

At the Visp location, a scientist (m/f/d) is sought for the microbiology area within Quality Control. Your tasks: Technical expertise in technical and analytical questions, as well as the processing of investigations, change requests and deviations under cGMP; recording, analysis and evaluation of verification data; identification and assessment of weaknesses as well as planning, implementation and monitoring of corrective actions. Creation of verification plans, reports and technical documentation. Collaboration in method development and verification; support of other departments with quality-relevant questions. Creation, review and release of documents to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; representative for project-specific inquiries in customer audits and authority inspections. Active support of continuous improvement processes within QC Microbiology. On-call service with pre-arranged assignments as part of the standby service. What we are looking for: Completed studies in a natural science field (MSc / PhD) with a focus on microbiology, biology or a comparable qualification. Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in the area of microbiology; experience with QC software systems such as MODA, LIMS, TrackWise or comparable systems is an advantage. GMP knowledge is an advantage. Independent, reliable and quality-conscious way of working. Enjoyment of working in a dynamic, regulated environment. Very good English skills.
