The REHAB Basel treats and rehabilitates patients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and related clinical pictures after accidents or illnesses. Our ultimate goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence and an optimal quality of life together with the people entrusted to us. In our clinic, we treat patients in the area of primary as well as follow-up rehabilitation.
Would you like to support our social counseling team with commitment and quality awareness in the comprehensive and specialized care and counseling of our patients? Then we are looking for you as a Social Worker FH for a fixed-term employment, possibly with the option of permanent employment, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
You advise patients as well as their contact persons on psychosocial, social insurance law, and financial questions
You organize and coordinate support offers during and for after the hospital stay
You advise and support in discharge planning
You work in the clinic in an interprofessional team as well as with external network partners
You are in close exchange with the social counseling team
Your profile
A successful degree as a certified Social Worker BSc
Sound knowledge of Swiss social insurance and social assistance law
Professional experience in the healthcare sector (an advantage)
Interest in complex medical issues and their long-term effects on those affected as well as their contact persons
Interest in and willingness for interprofessional cooperation in a clinic
Independence, sense of responsibility, and resilience
Very good oral and written German skills, foreign language skills in French and English (an advantage)
