Veterinary Anesthesia Technician VAT Endoscopy Aarau

In veterinary medicine, endoscopy combines sophisticated anesthesia with highly specialized equipment technology. In Aarau, Canton Aargau, we are looking for a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician VAT or a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician VAT for the field of medicine and endoscopy at a workload of 60 – 100%, starting immediately or by arrangement. In a center for small animal medicine with over 160 employees, you will manage anesthesias during bronchoscopies, rhinoscopies, as well as gastro-, duodeno-, and coloscopies.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You perform anesthesias during endoscopic examinations and procedures
• You are responsible for the endoscopy technology, including setup, maintenance, and cleaning
• You assist in the field of medicine, during emergencies, and in the care of outpatient patients
• You work interdisciplinary with veterinarians and the nursing team
• Upon request, you can be deployed in other departments of the veterinary clinic

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ or Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ
• Successfully completed further training as a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician VAT or as a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician VAT, or an adequate further training
• Technical understanding and a careful, structured way of working
• Teamwork skills, resilience, and a sense of responsibility
