The contribution you can make

• Independently perform medical examinations of persons subject to compulsory military service
• Assess fitness for military service and civil protection
• Chair a commission for the health visit in order to assess fitness
• Communicate and represent externally the knowledge acquired in specialized areas and work closely with the managers of primary and recruitment medical care

What distinguishes you

• Federal medical diploma or equivalent with MEBEKO recognition and several years of clinical experience
• Open attitude in contacts with military personnel and regarding military and military medicine issues
• Person endowed with leadership experience, initiative, and foresight who enjoys communicating in a motivated and interdisciplinary team
• Good active knowledge of at least a second official language and passive knowledge of a third official language

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is available to the troops. It provides all logistical services in favor of the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and about 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
