Your tasks

• Outpatient consultation: You care for patients in the entire spectrum of general gastroenterology, especially in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hepatology and functional diagnostics.
• Endoscopy: You perform gastroenterological and hepatological examinations and interventions and master the common endoscopic spectrum. Knowledge in endosonography (EUS) and ERCP is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• On-call service: You participate in the on-call service.
• Further training: You are actively involved in internal medical training in the field of gastroenterology as well as in sonography training.
• In a senior position: You assume medical and organizational co-responsibility for the department and actively participate in its further development. There is the possibility to build up and further develop your own area of specialization.

Your profile

• Specialist title Gastroenterology: You possess a specialist title in gastroenterology (FMH or equivalent, recognized qualification in Switzerland).
• For the senior position: You bring leadership experience and ideally have experience in the professional and organizational development of a team or a department.
• Additional qualification: An additional specialist title in General Internal Medicine is desirable.
• Professional experience: Experience in interventional endoscopy or in another area of specialization in gastroenterology or hepatology completes your profile.
• Personality: You are a motivated, team-oriented and committed personality with high initiative. You value interdisciplinary cooperation and enjoy actively shaping structures and processes and developing the department further.
