Midwife 50-100% (m/f/d) in a renowned institution in Basel

Tasks

• Care and support of expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period
• Conducting births and expert support in all phases of the birthing process
• Advising and supporting families to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience
• Close cooperation with an interdisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nursing staff, and other specialists
• Promoting parental competence and supporting new parents in the early phase with their newborn
• Conducting preventive examinations and counseling in the areas of breastfeeding and infant care

Profile

• Completed training as a midwife (FH or HF) or an equivalent qualification
• Experience in obstetrics is an advantage, but motivated career starters are also welcome
• Empathy and competence in supporting women and families in this special phase of life
• Teamwork skills and the willingness to take on responsibility
• Independent and structured way of working with a high sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to the needs of expectant mothers
