Your main tasks

• Preparing patients for anesthesia
• Checking anesthesia equipment before anesthesia
• Performing general anesthesia in cooperation with the responsible anesthesiologist, assisting with all regional anesthesia techniques
• Documentation of all relevant anesthesia data using state-of-the-art PDMS
• Providing the necessary materials and medications for anesthesia
• Coverage of the REA service during duty time
• Assisting with postoperative care regarding anesthesia-specific matters
• Maintenance, cleaning, and care of the apparatus and materials used in anesthesia
• You implement the training concept in the anesthesia department and accompany students during their practical training. This includes induction and learning support, leading and discussing learning documentation and progress sheets, as well as creating educational and probationary period reports.
• Additionally, you conduct induction, location, and qualification interviews and regularly participate in the BB-Forum as well as in the exchange with partner hospitals.

Your profile

• You hold a diploma as an expert in anesthesia nursing or an equivalent qualification.
• You have completed further training as a vocational trainer and bring several years of professional experience.
• Your goal is to ensure professional anesthesia at the highest level and patient-oriented care.
• Rational, economical, and environmentally conscious use and handling of available resources, taking quality requirements into account, is a matter of course for you.
• You enjoy working independently and contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere between patients and doctors through your audience-appropriate communication.
• Through your enthusiasm for the profession and vocational training, you succeed in planning, controlling, and accompanying learning processes.
