Our Glärnisch residential group is oriented towards the needs of older people with support and care needs. To complement the team, we are looking for, immediately or by arrangement, a flexible, committed and reliable

Care Companion or SRK Nursing Assistant 60% at the Glärnisch residential group

Your tasks:

• Accompanying and supporting 13 adults with impairments in everyday life to achieve as independent and self-determined a lifestyle as possible
• Taking over basic daily care, especially when changing incontinence materials, during toilet visits and when showering
• Support during lunch and during other everyday activities as well as during mobilization and transfers
• Observing changes and passing on relevant information to the responsible specialists
• Taking over organizational and administrative tasks as a coordination person after appropriate training
• Cooperation with the team as well as with internal and external bodies
• Taking over early and late shifts as well as weekend and holiday shifts

You bring with you:

• Experience in care, for example as an SRK nursing assistant, nursing assistant, in Spitex, long-term care or in a similar field of activity
• SRK nursing course or comparable qualification (you are also welcome even without EFZ)
• Joy in working with people with a cognitive impairment
• Good mental and physical resilience, as the work is physically demanding and requires good handling of challenging situations
• Joy in practical work and no aversion to personal hygiene, toilet visits and incontinence care
• High sense of responsibility, reliability and independent way of working
• Professional handling of closeness and distance
• Readiness and flexibility for irregular working hours, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• Driver's license is an advantage
