At Bildungsstätte Sommeri, we accompany adults and young people with cognitive impairments on their way to more independence, participation, and quality of life. Our offerings in the living and working areas create protected, promoting living spaces - with respect, dignity, and heart.

For our familial internal residential group with seven clients, we are looking for a dedicated and empathetic caregiver who enjoys taking responsibility and shapes everyday life with heart and professional competence. Together with our team, you will contribute to creating an appreciative atmosphere and sustainably promoting the quality of life of our clients.

Your task with heart

You accompany people with high and comprehensive support needs individually, mindfully, and holistically through their daily lives. Our residents rely on reliable support in many areas of daily life. In doing so, you combine agogic accompaniment, relationship management, and nursing.

This includes:

• Comprehensive and individual accompaniment of people with complex impairments in everyday life
• Shaping of leisure, community, and special experiences
• Promotion of self-determination, participation, and quality of life
• Support and accompaniment in nursing activities, coordinated to individual needs

No two days are alike: Your work is versatile, close to people, and characterized by intensive relationship work. You create a reliable framework and enable clients to have a self-determined everyday life as well as participation in life.

What you bring:

• Training in care or nursing (FaBe/FaGe) - or experience in basic work
• Empathy, independence, and team spirit
• Curiosity about the WKS-Modell (Willem Kleine Schaars)
• Knowledge in supported communication, kinesthetics, and basic nursing care
• Willingness for split shifts as well as evening and weekend shifts
• Good PC user skills
• Driver's license B (D1 - is a plus)
