Thus, the department's mission is to screen for and effectively treat pathologies that are increasingly frequent and polymorphic, while respecting patients and their relatives. The addiction service ensures the diagnosis and therapeutic management of patients suffering from addiction problems (with and/or without substances) in accordance with the policy of the Confederation and the canton in the field of addictions, known as the "4 pillars" (prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and management of individuals). Senior Resident with or without specialist title - 80% to 100% As a senior resident, with or without specialist title, you ensure the psychiatric follow-up of male patients/detainees and female patients/detainees within the service (closed or open setting). You intervene in a demanding clinical framework, at the crossroads of care, justice, and security issues, in close connection with experienced multidisciplinary teams. Your approach is part of an individualized therapeutic approach aiming for the stabilization of mental disorders, the rehabilitation of symptoms, and the prevention of relapse. You contribute to global management, respectful of the dignity of persons and the ethical principles specific to psychiatry in a context of constraint. In this capacity, you work in a coordinated manner with professionals with complementary skills, such as nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and psychomotor therapists. Parallel to your activity, you have the opportunity to finalize, if this is not yet the case, your integrated quality post-graduate training contributing to the obtaining of the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Qualifications You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Commission des professions médicales of the Office fédéral de la santé publique (MEBEKO). If you already benefit from your specialization title, you possess the cantonal right to practice or are able to obtain it before your start date. For non-French speaking persons, level C1 French in spoken and written tests is required. Experience in the field of persons deprived of liberty is an asset and you already have some experience in psychiatry. As part of your engagement, a police check will be carried out for your assignment in a closed setting.
