The orthopaedic emergency service of Hirslanden Klinik Birshof is the central point of contact for the emergency care of patients presenting with acute injuries or pain of the locomotor system. As an integral part of the new department of acute, intermediate, and perioperative medicine (AIPM), this service is closely linked to the clinic's inpatient and perioperative care pathways and collaborates interdisciplinarily with affiliated physicians, anesthesia, general internal medicine, nursing, radiology, and other specialties.

YOUR TASKS

• You are responsible for the specialized care and treatment of patients in orthopaedic emergencies
• You perform examinations, evaluations, first treatments, and dispositions in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Close collaboration with affiliated physicians to ensure the continuity of care pathways
• Support of assistant physicians in daily clinical work
• Participation in guaranteeing high-quality, effective, and patient-centered care
• Active participation in the regular orthopaedic emergency service

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a specialist title in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the locomotor system, surgery or general internal medicine, or are close to obtaining it
• Experience in emergency medicine, acute medicine, or traumatology is an asset
• You work in a structured, autonomous, and team-oriented manner
• You demonstrate a high degree of patient orientation and quality awareness
• You enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration in a dynamic clinical environment
• You possess excellent German skills, both oral and written
