Job description

Espace de vie SA is an institution that manages the médico-social establishments (EMS) of La Châtelaine in Vernier and Saint-Loup in Versoix. These welcome 91 and 84 residents respectively. Approximately 100 employees per institution are employed there.

To complete the care team of l-EMS Saint-Loup, we are looking for:

A health care assistant

CDD 1 year

Mission and responsibilities:

Serving the institutional project and the project for supporting and caring for residents in a living space, the person is responsible for performing care adapted to their physical and mental state, for supporting and helping residents to accomplish daily life tasks as well as contributing to their support and that of their entourage.

The health care assistant contributes, under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, through their professional skills and observations, to the multidisciplinary care and support process, defined with the resident and, if applicable, their relatives, the therapeutic representative, as well as the attending physician and the teams.

Profile sought

Qualifications and skills:

• Swiss Croix-Rouge health care assistant or equivalent training
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience in the field of geriatrics, psycho-geriatrics and palliative care
• Good knowledge of the French language (spoken, written) other languages an asset
• IT knowledge and care software
• Positive and constructive spirit
• Good ability to adapt
• Availability, flexibility and rigor in the performance of tasks
• Great sense of responsibility, organization and service
