In the Medical Coding department, we are responsible for around 20'000 inpatient cases per year, as well as the external coding for partner institutions. Our team of experienced specialists, mostly with a medical background, stands for precision, reliability, and high expertise. As Head of Department, you will take responsibility for people, processes, and quality - in a key function at the interface between medicine and economy.

These are your tasks ##

This is what you bring with you ##

• You take over the technical and personnel management of the coding department and competently support the clinics in coding-relevant questions
• With your specialist eye, you develop coding processes further, code inpatient cases from all specialist areas, and drive cross-departmental projects forward
• You actively participate in quality assurance and ensure complete, timely, and audit-proof encoding
• Several years of experience as a Medical Coder or comparable qualification (Medical Documentation Assistant, Documentarian, or Coding Specialist) in a hospital environment - ideally with a federal diploma (eidgenössischem Fachausweis)
• Experience in leading teams or a clear willingness to develop yourself in this area
• Sound knowledge in medical controlling and in relevant coding systems
• Strong communication skills, high reliability, and initiative
