THE MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY OF THE HÔPITAL D’YVERDON IS LOOKING FOR
MAIN MISSIONS
Registration of analysis requests
Inoculation of microbiology samples
Depending on experience: Performance of direct examinations (Gram, Acridine) and rapid tests, reading of cultures and antibiograms
Performance of medical analyses in the field of molecular biology: PCR GeneXpert (Cepheid), QIAstat (Qiagen), Flash10 (Coyote), Liaison MDX (DiaSorin)
Performance of quality controls according to Qualab directives
Maintenance of equipment
Compliance with hygiene and safety rules
Possible on-call duties during the week until 10pm (no night shifts)
Possible on-call duties on the weekend until 10pm (no night shifts)
SKILLS – REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS
Swiss ES diploma as a Technician in biomedical analyses or a title deemed equivalent recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
Experience in a similar environment (for example an internship)
Organization and sense of priorities
Autonomy and teamwork
