Laboratory Technician

Clinical Pharmacology advises other clinics on questions regarding drug theory and drug safety and conducts clinical trials with drugs. For our LC-MS laboratory, we are looking for a motivated laboratory technician who will competently and committedly support us in performing LC-MS analyses. What awaits you

• Sample preparation and performance of LC-MS/MS measurements for the quantification of drugs and their metabolites in biological matrices
• Measurement and data analysis of samples from clinical trials and the clinical-pharmacological specialist consultation (phenotyping of CYP450 isoenzymes)
• Collaboration on ongoing research projects in the field of drug metabolism/toxicity and in vivo biomarkers
• Support in cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment

What you bring with you

• Training as a Laborant:in EFZ (or another scientific direction) or a Bachelor's degree in biology, biomedical research, pharmacy (or in other scientific fields)
• Interest in quantitative bioanalytical methods (LC-MS experience is welcome, but not a requirement)
• Teamwork skills and organizational talent
• Precise, independent, and efficient way of working
• Good English skills; Applications in English are also welcome
