Your tasks

• As a senior physician, you will lead the outpatient clinic for adult psychiatry in close cooperation with the team's management members and bear responsibility for the professional and organizational direction.
• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will undertake psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments, treatments, and consultations for patients as well as their relatives.
• Within the scope of your senior physician activity, you will supervise assistant physicians and psychologists and support them in their professional development.
• With the support of the secretariat, you will take over duty planning and participate together with your team occasionally in the consultation and liaison service in the hospitals.
• Your varied daily work includes reports, case discussions, and further training, as well as active participation in internal training and continuing education.
• As a member of the management team at the Sargans location, you will contribute your professional expertise and ideas to the further development of the department and the location and actively shape its future direction.

Your profile

• You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and thus bring the professional foundation for the demanding activity in the outpatient sector.
• Leadership experience is an advantage and will support you in taking on responsibility in the interdisciplinary team and actively contributing to the further development of the work area.
• You possess a professional practice license from the canton or meet the requirements to obtain one before starting the position.
• Interest in outpatient and interdisciplinary treatment as well as a consistent orientation towards the needs of patients and relatives characterize your way of working.
• Regular professional continuing education and treatment according to current scientific findings and guidelines are important to you and are part of your professional self-image.
• Commitment, joy in contact with patients, team spirit, sociability, and a good sense of humor round off your profile.
