Job description

• Ensure pediatric consultations to monitor the health of infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their growth and development.
• Perform diagnosis and management of common and complex pathologies in pediatrics, adopting a personalized and caring approach.
• Inform parents and support them in the understanding and management of childhood pathologies, promoting an educational and reassuring approach.
• Develop prevention and vaccination actions according to current recommendations, and participate in child health awareness campaigns.
• Collaborate with other specialists (neonatology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric neurology, etc.) in order to guarantee multidisciplinary care adapted to the needs of patients.
• Update medical records and ensure rigorous follow-up to guarantee optimal continuity of care.
• Supervise and transmit expertise to young doctors and healthcare teams in a process of continuous training.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree with specialization in Pediatrics, recognized in Switzerland or eligible for equivalence.
• MEBEKO registration or recognition in Switzerland or in progress.
• Proven experience in general pediatrics and ability to manage a diversity of childhood pathologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with children and their families.
• Skills in managing pediatric emergency situations.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different actors in the care pathway.
