The Amt für Justizvollzug (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of various types of detention. In Graubünden, the execution of sentences and measures is regulated as a unified thematic field and holistic task, in which different professional groups work interdisciplinarily with convicted people to prevent further delinquency. The Justizvollzugsanstalt (JVA) Cazis Tignez employs around 110 staff members and has 150 detention places in closed execution. Of these, 100 in regular execution, ten in the intake department, 28 in the special execution area, and twelve in pretrial detention. Due to retirement, we are looking for a Nursing Specialist HF -- Specialization in Psychiatry as of 1 February 2027 or by arrangement. Your area of responsibility * Supervision, care, and leadership of admitted persons from various cultural backgrounds within the daily structures * Coordination and ensuring a smooth process of the individual daily execution routine of the special execution group with 20 admitted persons * Co-shaping daily life in the residential groups * Reference person work within fixed responsibilities * The focus in the execution setting is risk and resocialization orientation according to validated concepts (e.g., ROS) as well as activation, motivational work, and personality development of the admitted persons * Writing reports and documenting events * Ensuring and coordinating an orderly operational process taking into account the legal basis as well as execution- and security-relevant specifications and rules * Performing early, late, and weekend shifts. Nursing Specialist HF -- Specialization in Psychiatry * Initial work experience in a coercive context is an advantage * Professional experience in supporting people with burdensome biographies as well as mental impairments and/or addiction diseases. * You see the interaction with people from different cultures who are in difficult life situations as a positive challenge * Stable, conflict-capable, physically and mentally resilient personality with high social competence * Assertiveness, ability to set boundaries, and willingness for constructive cooperation in a coercive context * Joy in teamwork as well as interdisciplinary cooperation * Good written and oral communication skills in German (at least C1); additional knowledge of cantonal and foreign languages is an advantage * Driver's license category B * Willingness to complete the necessary further training * An impeccable record (no entries in the criminal record and the debt enforcement register).
