The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum (UPZ) Bern offers versatile and responsible tasks in acute psychiatry on the Beyeler and Streit wards. In a dynamic environment, you will accompany patients with different clinical pictures. The work is oriented towards a person-centered recovery-oriented mission statement and combines a comprehensive range of non-pharmacological interventions to support the self-efficacy of patients, even at night.
As an additional night watch, you will support the professional care of our patients during the night alongside the registered nurses. Additionally, you will take on the defined tasks within the framework of the fire protection project.

Your tasks

• You support patients with psychiatric clinical pictures with their needs during the night
• You support the sleep hygiene of the patients with non-pharmacological interventions
• You additionally take on logistical tasks to support the nursing team
• You carry out ward-crossing control rounds to ensure and maintain operations
• You are responsible for the tasks regarding fire protection prevention

Your profile

• You have completed training as a Fachfrau/Fachmann Gesundheit (EFZ) and already have initial professional experience
• You possess pronounced professional, social, and self-competence
• You communicate clearly and empathically
• You are a reliable and responsible personality
• You have good German language skills
• You are interested in fire protection prevention measures
